Founded in 1975, Cotriguaçu is a central cooperative formed by four leading regional co-ops (C.Vale, Coopavel, Copacol, Lar), with a democratic governance model—elected boards, ethical oversight, and zero-tolerance policy for corruption, forced labor, or child labor

• Integrated Infrastructure & Facilities
  The cooperative manages diverse operations:

  • Port Terminal in Paranaguá with a capacity of 2.5 million t/yr and 210,000 t storage.

  • Cold storage terminal in Cascavel: Automated cold chambers (10,000 t capacity) and 132 reefer outlets .

  • Rail terminal linked to TCP, enabling cost-effective, low-carbon export of frozen goods.

  • Grain mill in Palotina certified ISO/FSSC 22000 (400–500 t/day) with advanced Q.C. systems.

• Quality & Compliance Systems
  Embraces ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, GMP+, and ISPS/OEA certifications, combined with HACCP and routine audits. Full transparency in management and commitment to continuous improvement.

Payment Methods (Now Accepting Bitcoin)

To overcome trade barriers, tariffs, and sanctions, we now accept cryptocurrency payments, including Bitcoin, in addition to traditional methods.

• Timing: Balance due once scanned shipping documents are issued

• Process: Payment via secure, custodian-integrated crypto portal

• Settlement: Funds verified on-chain, converted if needed, and settled within 1–2 business days

• Documentation: Digital receipt and invoice updated to reflect BTC transaction

Shipping Policy

• Global Reach & Market Access
  Cotriguaçu exports poultry products (whole chicken, parts, frozen goods) and grains to markets across China, Russia, Turkey, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

• Cold Chain & Handling

  • Frozen food stored in automated chambers (10,000 t), processed via cold-recovery tunnels, and shipped in refrigerated containers—maintaining −18 °C at every stage.

  • Direct railway link to TCP allows secure and efficient transit to port.

• Port & Logistics Infrastructure
  Paranaguá terminal (customs-bonded) handles ≥3,000 t/hr, with cross-docking, container stuffing, and ad-hoc cold-chain services.

• Documentation & Tracking
  Full compliance packaging, including health certificates, origin documents, Halal certificates, and customs clearances—paired with shipment tracking and customer coordination.
